Gooood morning, listeners! I’m so excited to be sharing this news with you this morning: Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today in Los Angeles!
Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio will be accepting the award on behalf of the other group members who are no longer with us. The ceremony will take place today at 11:30am PST (2:30pm EST) at 6150 Hollywood Boulevard – so if any of you reading this are in LA and would like to go, definitely try! If you’re not in LA (as I expect many of you aren’t), but you’d still like to see the ceremony, you can watch it here!
Did you know that people could be added to a dictionary? Turns out, Beyonce is getting added to a French Dictionary as a proper noun and her entry will read “American singer of R&B and pop”. This particular dictionary has included several French and foreign personalities in its publications and some other recognizable names getting added this year are Cate Blanchett, LeBron James, and Christopher Nolan.
If you’re a fan of Bridgerton, I’m sure you’re excited for the new season that’s coming to Netflix on May 16th. Since the show gained popularity a few years ago, people have been dreaming of what it would be like to go back to that era.
In honor of that dream and the new season, a plaza in New York City will be transformed into the Bridgerton Promenade. There will be a Regency-era market in the plaza and fans will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in the fictional world. There will be interactive experiences, new products, photo opportunities, giveaways, and more! It’s a free exhibit and you do not need a ticket to attend!
The series finale of Young Sheldon is fast approaching – the show finales on May 16th – and Jim Parsons spoke about his name on the Young Sheldon, particularly with his appearance in the show’s final episode.
He said that the experience was “very weird” and “also very beautiful” and that it was a really sweet experience and he’s very grateful he was asked to do it.
Iain Armitage, who plays the younger version of Jim Parsons’ Sheldon Cooper on Young Sheldon, created a Tiktok with Parsons in honor of the series. Check it out below!
More news was released yesterday about the Young Sheldon spin off as well. The show will be titled Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage and it will be premiere on CBS this fall and air on Thursdays at 8pm!
If you’re a Rosie O’Donnell fan, you’ll be excited to hear that she’s joining the cast of And Just Like That playing a character named Mary. The new season will be premiering sometime next year.
Lastly, if you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, Anne Hathaway’s new film The Idea of You is now on Prime. Hathaway stars in the film alongside Nicholas Galitzine and it is about a 40 year old single mother (Hathaway) who unexpectedly begins a romance with a boy band singer (Galitzine) nearly half her age.
Anne Hathaway has also been in the news lately because she confirmed that Princess Diaries 3 is happening, saying that there’s nothing to announce yet, but they’re in a good place!
