This week wasn’t nearly as busy as last week in Hollywood – most stories this week centralized around the upcoming Barbie film that will be in theaters in a few weeks – but there are a few things here I know you all will be thrilled to hear!
Firstly, a new Harry Potter series has been confirmed at HBO. It’s a series that plans to be a “faithful adaptation” to the books and “plans for the show to span a decade”.
So far, there isn’t news on casting as it’s likely no casting has been solidified yet, but we do know that Daniel Radcliffe likely will not be part of the project.

Moving on, there’s a new documentary on best friend duo Wham! which dropped on Netflix on Wednesday.
Netflix describes the film as “Through archival interviews and footage, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley relive the arc of their Wham! career, from 70s best buds to 80s pop icons”. It’s also been described as a “heart-warming story of partnership, of true brotherhood”.

The Eagles also announced yesterday that they’re going on a farewell tour which they’re calling The Long Goodbye Tour.
So far, they’ve only announced 13 tour dates, but Boston IS one of them! They will be at the TD Garden on September 11th with support from Steely Dan!
They will also be visiting New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Minnesota.
Presale and VIP packages will be on sale starting July 12th and general sale begins on July 14th at 10am.
