Jordyn’s Buzz – June 30th, 2023

This week was an absolute whirlwind in entertainment!

First, we learned that Ryan Seacrest will officially be taking over Pat Sajak’s hosting duties on Wheel of Fortune late next year. He beat out quite a few other worthy candidates including Pat Sajak’s daughter.

Rob and I told you all on air how we feel about the decision, so we’d love to hear your opinions!

Over the last year or so, Rob and I have been giving you all the updates on the upcoming Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

The newest update is that 2 lucky people and their plus ones will have the opportunity to stay in Ken’s room in the Barbie Malibu Dream House (for free!)!

On July 17th, booking will open for two separate stays at the Malibu Dream House and if you’re one of the lucky ones who is able to successfully book your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to stay in Ken’s room, go through Ken’s wardrobe, dance on the outdoor disco dance floor, sunbathe by the infinity pool, and more!

Check out one of the photos of the home from Airbnb!

For more info on the property, how to book, and to see more photos, follow this link!

The Barbie movie hits theaters on July 21st and Margot and Ryan are also headed out on the road to promote the film! Check out their teaser below.

Moving on, as I’m sure you all know, I am a huge Frankie Valli fan, so it would be remiss of me not to mention that Frankie got married on Monday in Las Vegas to former CBS marketing executive Jackie Jacobs! And speaking of new beginnings, John Legend and Chrissy Tegan welcomed their 4th child this week as well!

Back in Hollywood, news dropped this week regarding the 2024 inductees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The list includes Chadwick Boseman, Ken Jeong, Eugene Levy, and many, many more! Check out the full list here.

Lastly, for our movies this week, Superman and Lois were officially cast in the upcoming film Superman: Legacy, which will be the first film to launch the new DC universe.

David Corenswet will be playing Superman and Rachel Brosnahan will be playing Lois.

And finally, Indiana Jones is in theaters TODAY! It is the last Indiana Jones film that will star Harrison Ford, so it’s not one you want to miss! If you want to catch up before you see the film, all of the previous films are on Disney+ and Paramount+.

In researching the new movie, I came across this great article where Harrison Ford took a moment to reflect on his career, check it out here!

If you see the film this weekend, let us know what you think, and enjoy your holiday weekend!
