If you’re looking for something to follow up one of the busiest and most exciting weekends of the year, we’ve got some suggestions of local events for you and your family to look into this upcoming weekend!
From September 9th – September 11th, Eastham will be hosting their annual Windmill Weekend!
This weekend celebrates Eastham’s town history and families and is home to vendors, crafters, non-profit organizations, food, live music, games for children, and games for the whole family to enjoy!
There will also be the Great Tricycle Race, a parade, a road race, raffle, scavenger hunt, talent show, vehicle show, craft show, and sand art contest!

Another similar event is going on in Hull on September 10th – they will be hosting Endless Summer, their annual waterfront festival at Nantasket Beach.
All along the waterfront, there will be live music, vendors, food, and more!
The event will be held from 12pm – 5pm and you can find more information here and on their website.
Also on September 10th is the 12th Annual Cape Cod Wildlife Collaboration Festival.
The event is free, and the goal is to celebrate Cape Cod Wildlife and Habitats. This will be the perfect place to bring kids to ring in the end of summer!
There will be live animal demonstrations in addition to food trucks, exhibits, educational activities, book signings and music!

Then, from September 10 – September 11, you can check out Rhode Island’s Seafood Festival at India Point Park.
The Ocean State will be partnering with local restaurants to bring you the best food Rhode Island has to offer. You can also try locally produced beer, wine, and cocktails as well as participate in games, visit craft vendors, and enjoy live music.
Lastly, on Sunday, September 11th, they’re hosting a princess celebration! Princesses Tiana, Moana, Ariel, and Rapunzel will be in attendance, and the day will be filled with lawn games, lunch, and cocktails starting at 11am.
A live performance by the princesses will begin at 12pm, and afterward, there will be a meet and greet and dance party with the princesses. You can purchase tickets in advance as well as food and beverages.
