This summer, on July 8th, the 7th edition of the annual Hydrangea University is back at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, kicking off the annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival.
This year, the event is able to return to its normal, in-person symposium-style event and will highlight guest speakers that will be able to inspire and entertain attendees’ and help to increase their knowledge of hydrangeas.
If you register for this event, you will also have admission to all Heritage Museums & Gardens, and in addition, you’ll receive a goodie bag and a hydrangea plant to take home with you. You’ll also be able to tour the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society Display Garden and the North American Hydrangea Test Garden.
You must buy tickets in advance, and they are $65 for non-members of Heritage Museums & Gardens or the Hydrangea Society, or $55 for members.
You can register via this link.
If you can’t attend the kick off event, you can always go to the Hydrangea Festival anytime between July 8th and July 17th.
Cape Cod is known for its beautiful summer hydrangeas, and now is your opportunity to explore the North American Hydrangea Test Garden and the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society’s Display Cart and learn about eight species of hydrangeas.
This is a family friendly event, and as long as you pay for admission into the museum, all other activities are free.
For members, admission is free, and for non-members, you can purchase tickets (it’s recommended to do so in advance) for $20 for adults, and $10 for children three and older. Children two and under are free.
