This has been a week of comebacks!
Not only did Justin Timberlake drop a new single yesterday, a music video for that single, and announce his new album will be coming on March 15th, he also announced an upcoming tour!
He will be at the TD Garden on June 29th and tickets will go on sale February 2nd!
He will also be playing a **FREE* show at Irving Plaza in New York on January 31st. All you have to do to get tickets is send in a request here. You aren’t guaranteed tickets if you submit a form, but if you’re a Justin Timberlake fan and willing to pack up and go to NYC, this is the show for you! Irving Plaza is a beautiful venue and I don’t think you’ll ever be able to see Justin at a venue this small again! It will be an intimate show I don’t think you’ll be able to find elsewhere.
Check out his new song and music video below.
Avril Lavigne also announced her comeback this week! She’s going to be touring with Simple Plan, All Time Low, and other guests, and will be stopping in Boston on August 24th! If you’re interested, tickets went on sale this morning and you can find them here.
The Killers will also be on the road this summer! They’re playing various festivals this year (including Boston Calling over Memorial Day weekend!) and they just announced their very own Vegas residency in August.
These shows will be extremely special since the band is from Las Vegas. They will be playing their album Hot Fuss from front to back at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace over the course of eight nights between August 14th and August 30th. Tickets for these shows go on sale tomorrow. You can get more info here.
We talked about this one earlier in the week, but Billy Joel has a new single coming out on February 1st called Turn the Lights Back On! Check out the snippet below if you haven’t heard it yet.
Lastly, Ozzy Osbourne has announced that his career as we know it will be drawing to a close. He’s not necessarily retiring, but with his health, he has come to terms with the fact that performing live can’t be what it used to be. He will not be touring any longer, but he does plan to have two final shows so he can give his fans a proper goodbye.
See you back here next week for another edition of The Buzz!
