2023 Festivals of Lights

2023 Festivals of Lights

One of the most quintessential parts of the holiday season is spending time with your loved ones and seeing all of the lights displays that are set up. This year, there is no shortage of lights displays and we’ve made one big list for you of some of the most popular displays!

Zoo Lights

The Stone Zoo in Stoneham will be transformed into a winter wonderland of lights this holiday season. The display will run through January 7th (with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Days).

Gardens Aglow

Every year, the Heritage Museum & Gardens in Sandwich set up Gardens Aglow, which is over nine miles of holiday lights throughout the gardens. There is also a model train exhibit and performances throughout the season. Other things you can look forward to are holiday crafts, rides on the vintage carousel, going on a scavenger hunt, and more. The display is open through December 29th.

Winterlights

The Trustees’ Winterlights returns this year in three locations: Stockbridge, North Andover, and Canton. There will be beautiful light displays, festive music, seasonal goods and beverages, and more. The displays run from the end of November through December.

Night Lights: Starry Skies

Head to the New England Botanic Garden to experience a journey through the cosmos and back. You can enjoy s’mores and beverages, shop, see a model train, and much more as you discover this spectacular lights show! It runs from November 24th – December 31st from 4–10pm daily.

Edaville Railroad Festival of Lights

The beloved New England attraction Edaville Railroad Festival of Lights is officially open Thursdays – Sundays through December 31st. At Edaville, you can look forward to the classic train ride, shopping, dining, a visit with Santa, amusement rides, arcade games, and more!
