This was probably the busiest week in Hollywood we’ve had in months! So much happened and it seems like there are so many exciting things to come in these next few months!
TV NEWS
- There is a James Bond Reality Series Headed to Prime Called 007’s Road to a Million
- I couldn’t find a premiere date, but it’s looking like they are estimating that season 1 will premiere in November
- They already casting for season 2 and are looking for ‘dynamic duos to jet set across the globe using their wits and general knowledge to answer questions hidden around the world’

- Buffy Reunion is Coming, but Not in the Way You May Have Expected
- An Audible series is coming starring the original Buffy The Vampire Slayer cast on October 12th
- They will also be promoting the new series on a panel at New York Comic Con on October 13th. On the panel will be: Amber Benson, Charisma Carpenter, Emma Caulfield Ford, James Charles Leary, Juliet Landau, James Marsters, Laya DeLeon Hayes, and writer/director Christopher Golden.
- The series is set in the Buffy universe with Spike (James Marsters) as the hero. The series takes place decades after the show’s series finale and follows Spike as he goes undercover in Los Angeles and what happens when his identity is compromised.

WGA/ SAG-AFTRA STRIKES
- The Drew Barrymore Show started filming again at the beginning of this week despite the ongoing strikes and active picketing outside her studio to keep filming from picking back up
- She is receiving tons of backlash, including her invitation to host the National Book Awards being rescinded.
- After being on strike for so many months now, many organizations are trying to pull proceeds together in support of the strikes and the writers and actors
- The Union Solidarity Coalition have organized an auction in which proceeds will go toward raising money for crew impacted by the strike
- Bids are high, but there are some really fantastic items up for auction including Zoom sessions with some of your favorite actors, coaching/mentorship sessions for individuals aspiring to work in the industry with A-List Hollywood names, memorabilia, celebrity dog walking, and much, MUCH more!

- Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon of the Strike Force Five Podcast (which also includes John Oliver and Seth Meyers) are hosting a live podcast event in Las Vegas on September 23rd
- Proceeds from the event will be going to the currently out-of-work people on the host’s shows (which is also where proceeds from the Strike Force Five podcast have been going)
- Tickets go on sale today at 10am PT on ticketmaster.com.

- Aerosmith heavily advertised their farewell tour, but it seems farwell still may be a bit far off!
- Steven Tyler has been placed on vocal rest after playing just three shows on their Peace Out tour and is unable to sing for at least 30 days.
- Their next six shows on the tour have been postponed and rescheduled for January and February of 2024
- We will see how the rest of the tour goes and if Steven Tyler is able to heal as expected!

- The group have been hinting at an announcement – check out one of those hints from Justin Timberlake’s Tiktok
- The announcement people had been anticipating took awhile to come, but it came on Wednesday night when the group announced that they are releasing their first single in over 2 decades – it’s called Better Place and is part of the Trolls Band Together soundtrack, which is a film about a band getting back together (coincidence???)
