Last week, we talked about how Paul McCartney is releasing one final Beatles record later this year, but he’s also bringing back some Beatles nostalgia in his new book called 1964: Eyes of the Storm.
The book is comprised of 275 recently discovered photos that McCartney took during 1963 and 1964 which give off an “air of innocence”.
Right now, the photos are on display in a London gallery through October, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed they will bring the display to the US afterwards. If you want to see the photos now, check out McCartney’s book here.
There is also a new Elvis film that’s in the works. The film is called Priscilla and is based off of Priscilla Presley’s memoir “Elvis and Me”.
The film stars Jacob Elordi as Elvis and Cailee Spaeny as Priscila Presley and it will explore Priscilla’s life and her relationship with Elvis.

Additionally, the new season of And Just Like That, the spin off of Sex and the City, premiered yesterday on Max. The first two episodes of the season dropped on the platform yesterday and going forward, one episode per week will be released on Max.
Between Kim Catrall making a surprise appearance as Samantha Jones, John Corbett reprising his role as the beloved Aidan Shaw, and this year being the 25th anniversary of Sex and the City, this season is gearing up to be a good one!
There have been so many tributes to the series this year – from pop ups in NYC to articles to people rewatching the entire series, the milestone hasn’t gone unnoticed. As an avid fan of the series, I’ve been reading through all of the articles (and I even visited Carrie’s iconic Brownstone in NYC last month and Sarah Jessica Parker’s new shoe store!) and I wanted to share my favorite of the articles with you all.
The article was called ‘Sex and the City’ Turns 25! A By-the-Numbers Blowout and it combs through the entire series and tells you things like how much Carrie’s skirt cost or how many questions Carrie asks in her articles.
It was a quick read, but I know fans of the show will find the breakdown fascinating! Check out the article here.
Lastly, as it’s looking like it might be another rainy weekend, it might be a good weekend for movies! There are two great movies coming to theaters today: No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence and Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City. If you check them out, let us know!
See you back here next week!
