One of the most quintessential things about fall is packing the family up in the car and going to the orchard. Whether you’re there to go apple picking, pumpkin picking, or just hoping to grab some sweets you can only get in the fall, it’s always a special day during a special time of year.

CN Smith Farm, East Bridgewater
At CN Smith Farm, you can look forward to apple picking and picking up apple cider and donuts. They have spacious orchards and they even sell locally grown fruit and produce as well. Everything that you purchase there is either self-produced or purchased from local growers, bakers, or producers.
Sauchuk’s Farmstand, Plympton
Sauchuk’s Farmstand is open daily from 9-6pm until October 31st. When you’re there on the weekends in September and October, you can also pick your own pumpkins and visit the corn maze they have set up. And if you’re there later in the season in November or December, you can purchase your own firewood there.
C&C Reading Farm, West Bridgewater
C&C Reading Farm has a variety of activities and products for you to check out. You can visit their farm stand with over 90% self produced & locally grown products, including plants, fresh produce, meat, seafood, eggs, sweets like fresh cider donuts and candy apples, beverages, and much more. In the Summer, you can also pick your own blueberries, strawberries, and flowers. In September and October, you can pick your own pumpkins and also shop fall decor.
Keith’s Farm, Acushnet
At Keith’s Farm, you can go apple picking and pumpkin picking.
Jaswell’s Farm, Smithfield, RI
Jaswell’s Farm has spacious orchards where you can pick your own apples and they even have a handy feature on their website where you can purchase tickets prior to arriving. They also have a farmstand and bakery with fresh-picked fruits and vegetables and freshly baked desserts and much more.
