This Sunday, September 25th, Aselton Park in Hyannis will be home to the Local Love Fest from 11am – 5pm.
This is the tenth season of hosting the Local Love Fest and its purpose stands to celebrate and support the local community.
At the festival, you’ll be able to support local artists, sellers, and businesses, enjoy live music, a beer and wine garden, food trucks, and kids activities. The event is free and open to the public, and you’ll be able to connect with around 100 local businesses, Cape Cod makers, artisans, artists, and farmers. The live music will also be performed by local artists: Catie Flynn Band and Alruda.
The festival is put on by Love Live Local, an organization on Cape Cod which promotes community advocacy and shopping local with the goal of fostering economic sustainability and valuing the uniqueness of the Cape and what that means for the future.
They host three Love Local Fests per year: the last Sunday in July, the last Sunday in September, and the first weekend in December.
You don’t need to purchase tickets to the event, and if you have any questions, here is a list of commonly asked questions to help make your day at the Love Local Fest more fun.
