With the new Hunger Games movie coming out this fall – The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – there’s been a resurgence in Hunger Games fans.
Jennifer Lawrence, who played Katniss Everdeen in all four Hunger Games films, came forward this week saying that if the opportunity crossed her path, she would 100% love to play Katniss again.
Right now, there aren’t any films (or novels) that include Katniss’s character, but it would be wonderful to see her back in Katniss’ shoes again in the future.
If you’re looking for your Hunger Games fix now, check out The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The novel is a prequel to the well-known trilogy and follows one of the prevalent characters from the original trilogy as a teenager as he navigates his own journey through the notorious hunger games tradition.

The film is set to hit theaters November 17th. Check out the trailer below.
Speaking of nostalgia and trying it in with new releases, there is going to be one last record released from The Beatles later this year.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: How could The Beatles be releasing a new song? I thought the same thing.
Paul McCartney said that he’s working with AI technology to extract John Lennon’s voice from an old cassette tape and he’s been able to work with the audio to create this new song.
If you think about it, it’s a little creepy, but if you think a little more, it’s pretty cool what technology can do! I’ll keep you all updated when it’s released.
Moving on, there’s some changes coming to the game show world. Pat Sajak announced this week that he will be leaving his duties on Wheel of Fortune after this upcoming season, which starts in September.
Sajak has been the nighttime host of the show since 1983 in addition to hosting the daytime edition from 1981-1989.
It will be quite the change without him!! And it’s looking like Ryan Seacrest is one of the people who could potentially replace him. Rob and I have our thoughts on him taking the place, but what do you all think?
If you’re looking for a new game show, a series called Hey Yahoo started this week on the Game Show Network.
Hey Yahoo is hosted by Tom Cavanagh and contestants are given a phrase like “how many days until…” and participants have to guess what Americans were searching for when they typed that phrase into google.
The show premiered on Monday, June 12th and airs weeknights at 8pm on the Game Show Network.
Lastly, Tom Cavanagh appeared on The Flash TV show, and the day has FINALLY come where The Flash movie is appearing in theaters. This film stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen.
This has been a long anticipated movie with its many ups and downs in the media, but the day is finally here and I am SO excited to see it. If any of you see it, drop us a message and let us know what you think!
