It’s been a big week for the readers!
Eric Dane’s posthumous memoir was published this week. It’s called My Book of Days A Memoir in Moments.
The book touches on his career – including highlights from Euphoria and Grey’s Anatomy – in addition to his diagnosis with ALS. He is quoted for wanting to share the moments in his life that shaped him, the beautiful and hard days, the ones he will never take for granted. He hoped that reading his book would remind people of what it means to live with heart and help people find meaning in their own days.
The book is available for purchase now, and if you’re interested in audiobooks, Jacob Elordi (who played his son on Euphoria) narrated the audiobook.
Andy Richter published a book this week as well called Elf Unwrapped: Behind the Scenes of a Modern Christmas Classic. The book is a ‘behind the scenes oral history book by actor and comedian Andy Richter (co-star who played Morris) and co-written with Aaron Karo.’ and will ‘Include exclusive interviews and anecdotes with key cast and crew members like Will Ferrell (who also pens the foreword), Zooey Deschanel, and director Jon Favreau, alongside never-before-seen photos.’ You can purchase it here.
The Housemaid stage play set an opening date in the UK. It’s opening at London’s Richmond Theatre on September 14, 2027, then it will tour throughout the UK until April 29, 2028. No word yet on whether the show will come to the US.
As for things to watch, there is a Rob Lowe feature coming to Netflix on November 24th. It’s called Rob Lowe: The Outsider which ‘Offers a never-before-seen look inside Lowe’s path to fame — and how he survived Hollywood.’ Check out the trailer below!
I don’t have a release date for this one yet, but there is a four part tell all docuseries coming to Apple about Justin Timberlake. Subject matter has not been confirmed, but there’s speculation that Janet Jackson will discuss the wardrobe malfunction from the 2004 Super Bowl and others think it will look at the relationship and recent comments from Britney Spears.
There’s also a new series coming to Netflix in the Stranger Things universe. It’s called Other Worlds: A Stranger Things Adventure and it will arrive on the streamer in 2028. It will take place in the 1950s in Marion, Nevada, before the events of the original series. Check out this post for more.
Lastly, good news for the hockey romance fans! Icebreaker, headed to Netflix, is officially in production! And Off Campus season 2 is coming to Prime on April 28th, 2027.
See you back here next week for another edition of The Buzz, brought to you by Dini’s tinis!
