The first two episodes of Brothers are out on Apple TV now. The comedy series stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson and is a riff on the rumor that the friends could be brothers in real life.
Don’t have Apple TV? No problem! Prime Video released a new romcom this week starring Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman and it. is. amazing! The film is based off of Ali Hazelwood’s debut novel of the same name, which you can check out here. Ali is such a funny and talented writer and both Lili and Tom played her characters perfectly. The VMAs are this weekend and will air on CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday at 7:30pm. Madonna is opening the ceremony with her first VMA performance in 23 years! She’s also competing for a record 13 VMAs this year, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and more.
Some things to look forward to:
- Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel Atmosphere is officially being adapted by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Atmosphere is about a woman who begins training at the Johnson Space Center in the 1980s. It is there that she finds passion and love and her story truly begins. It’s an absolute masterpiece of a book. Taylor is an incredible writer and there is so much beauty in this story.
- Jensen Ackles will star in Rules of Prey, a crime thriller series based off of the book by John Sandford
- Red, White, and Royal Wedding (Sequel to Red, White, and Royal Blue) will be out in 2027
- Ryan Murphy has written scripts for a Glee reboot and claims that former cast members are very interested in returning
