South Coast Harvest Festival
Head to Westport this weekend for the first South Coast Harvest Festival from Friday – Sunday. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate fall and the harvest with the entire family!
The festival will be held at the Westport Fairgrounds and you can check out fall garden displays created by professional designers, fall floral displays, and scarecrow creations. There will also be an antique tractor display and procession in addition to live music and a marketplace full of vendors and artists. You can also purchase fall themed foods! Plus, there will be garden talks and demonstrations, including an owl program! Kids will also be able to participate in interactive activities.

Provincetown Book Festival
From Friday, September 29th – Sunday, October 1, the Provincetown Library will be hosting its 7th Annual Book Festival which will feature a large book sale, local authors doing readings, and more. It will be an event all book lovers will enjoy!
The event is held at the Provincetown Public Library at 356 Commercial Street in Provincetown.
Braintree’s First Annual Mid-Autumn Festival
The town of Braintree is known for all of their local events – ranging from festivals to food truck events, there is always something going on around town!
On Sunday, October 1, head to French’s Common to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. You’re encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets so you can relax and enjoy all of the performances that are planned. There will be numerous cultural activities and performances like the traditional lion and dragon dances, lantern making workshops and more! In addition, there will be local businesses and food vendors as well.

Harvest Festival in Somerville, MA
This Sunday, the Somerville Community Growing Center will be hosting a Harvest Festival with games and activities, decorating pumpkins, and celebrating nature’s bounty!
If it rains, the event will be moved to October 15th.

The 9th Annual Vinegrass Music Festival at Truro Vineyards
This Sunday, visit the vineyard and attend the 9th annual Vinegrass Music Festival. Per their mission statement, the Vinegrass Organization strives to enhance the cultural quality of life through the production of American Roots concerts and festivals. They also work to raise funds to give scholarships to those who are studying music in college.
