A police pursuit that began in Indiana crossed over into Boone County, Kentucky, Friday afternoon.According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office, a man initially fled out of Dearborn County, Indiana, via Interstate 275 after authorities said he allegedly hit a deputy and a police cruiser during a traffic stop. The man, later identified as Johnathan Bingham, 35, of Plainfield, Indiana, then led police on a pursuit into Florence, Kentucky.Sister station WLWT obtained footage from a doorbell camera that captured Bingham speeding through a yard and down a hill, behind a house.Watch the video of the pursuit in the video above.Two women were standing outside talking before the vehicle came flying through their neighborhood, but quickly ran inside when they saw the vehicle speeding by.Immediately after, the doorbell camera shows police officers flying after Bingham into the yard. Officers got out of their vehicles and ran after Bingham, who also began running on foot away from the scene. Florence police officers and Boone County deputies created a perimeter to locate the man. Officers located Bingham hiding in a field. Bingham attempted to run from officers but was eventually captured and arrested.Police said Bingham faces felony charges in Indiana that led to the vehicle pursuit with the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office. He also had an outstanding felony arrest warrants in Indiana for a probation violation and possession of narcotic equipment. On Friday, Bingham was charged with criminal mischief, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, fleeing/evading police on foot and operating a vehicle on a suspended license in Kentucky.He is now being held at the Boone County Jail where he awaits extradition to Indiana.
