VIDEO: Surveillance cameras capture thief stealing car in broad daylight
Police in Louisville, Kentucky, are searching for a brazen thief who stole a car from a store in broad daylight.
It happened Saturday evening at a store called Video Kitchen in the Highlands area of the city. Edith Bush has worked there since 1992 when her parents founded the company.
"I came in, I put my keys down, and then he came in right behind me and took my keys and ran out the back door and clicked around and he found my car and got in it and drove away," Bush said.

It took a while before Bush realized her keys or her car were gone. She says she had no idea someone was inside the store other than hearing what she thought was a back door closing.
"I heard the door and I ran back there and nobody was there and I checked to make sure everything was safe and it looked fine. I didn't think about my keys," Bush said.
Surveillance cameras outside the store caught several clear images of the suspect. They've been sharing them on social media hoping someone will be able to identify him.
In the meantime, Bush says they have made some changed in their operations following the theft.
"We use that back door and now I'm asking people to lock it and I hate that, because we have to go in and out of there to get out to our production area where we run our copies," Bush said.
Employee Ashley Gobeli also says she is being more cautious as she goes about her day.
"Especially with it happening in broad daylight at a time where I'm not normally thinking super much about my safety as I would say if I was walking around the Highlands at 10 p.m.," Gobeli said.
Bush's car is a 2009 silver Nissan Murano.
"It has two bumper stickers on the back. One that says 'The Ville' that's an oval with a skyline and one that says 'Think for yourself,'" Bush said.
