IT FEELS KIND OF GOOD. I’M THE LAST ONE IN MY FAMILY TO BE GETTINGT. I SO THERE ARE PNSLA TO REQUIRE STUDENTS BE VACCINATED FOR CO VID-19 AHEAD OF THE FALL TERM, BUT CURRENTLY THAT IS ON HOLD UNTIL THE FDA MAKES FINAL APPROVAL ONCE THE POLIC. Y ARE EXPECTING. VACCINES FOR PEOPLE TO BE COMPLIANT WITH COVID-19 WHEN THEY COME TO CAMPUS STUDENTS WERE PLEASED TO AND THEY WOULD BE GETTING THE JNJ VACCINE. I DEFINITELY PREFERHE T ONE TIME JUST BECAUSE IT’S JUST THE NEXT OTW CLINICS ARE SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY AND THURSYDA FROM 9:00 UNTIL NOON SINCE JANUARY UC SANTA CRUZ HAS PROVIDED 5200 VACCINES. UCSC reopens COVID-19 vaccination clinics for students, faculty and staff
On Thursday, the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) opened the first of three COVID-19 vaccination clinics on campus for students, faculty and staff. The school is making plans to require their students are vaccinated by the Fall term. In all, 400 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered at three separate clinics being held on the UCSC campus.The first clinic opened Thursday to 30 people who registered using the UCSC patient portal."It feels kind of good. I'm the last one in my family to be getting it," said U.C. Santa Cruz Student, Meyene Abasi."Once the policy has been approved which we are expecting to happen then people then it would be required for people to be compliant for Covid vaccines when they come to campus," said, Larissa Mangas, Clinic Director for the Student Health Center.Students were pleased to learn they would be getting the J&J vaccine. "I definitely prefer the one time because it's easier and it's done faster and you don't have to come back a second time," said Nora Ostertag.The next two clinics are scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon.Since January, UCSC has provided 5,200 vaccines.Currently, the vaccination clinics are only open to students, faculty and staff with an appointment.
