'Taken way too early': 10-year-old girl killed in ATV accident working with father
A 10-year-old girl in Ohio has died, killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident while working with her father.
Reagan Vanoss died Tuesday after she was thrown from a four-wheeler.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, officers responded to a private property just before 4:30 p.m. for a report of the crash.
According to a family spokesperson, Vanoss and her father were on the same ATV working to drag a ballfield.
At some point, they lost control of the ATV, both of them tossed from the vehicle. The four-wheeler rolled over Vanoss.
She was taken to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The child's father suffered a broken collarbone and other minor injuries.
"Reagan was a sweet loving and funny little girl with an amazing spirit that was taken way too early. Our entire community grieves at this loss," family spokesperson Mitch Rhodus said.
"We are all blessed to have known little Reagan for the short time she had on this earth, but we are all confident she is now with her Lord and Savior in a much better place."
