A 6 year old boy has serious injuries after a vehicle backed out and hit the child at the Vandalia Fairgrounds yesterday (Tuesday).
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol a child was hiding under a 2008 Ford F-150 when 41 year old Michael Klug of Vandalia backed out and hit the child around 5:45 last (Tuesday) night.
The child was airlifted to the University Hospital in Columbia.
