Several Monterey County parks are planning to do away with entrance fees starting in July
During a media briefing today, Monterey county announced that starting on July 1st four parks in Monterey County will no longer require an entrance fee. The parks are Royal Oaks, Jacks Peak, Toro and San Lorenzo Park.Fees for camping, picnic areas and buildings will still apply. The rescinding of fees for the parks is part of the County's Fiscal Year 2021/22 budget which the board of supervisors will vote on June 22.
