After over a year, the Balconies Caves at Pinnacles National Park have reopened. According to Pinnacles National Park, the Balconies Caves can be accessed from both entrances of the park. On the west side via the Balconies trail and, on the east side, via the Old Pinnacles Trail.The park has had issues with vandalism in the caves and they are still w0rking on cleaning graffiti off the walls of the cave areas. It will likely be several months until they are able to fully remove the damage done inside. If the graffiti gets worst, the park may implement another temporary closure.The Bear Gulch Caves remain closed in the park for a standard seasonal closure to protect the bat population.
