Majority of Olympic table tennis team athletes are from the Bay Area

SALINAS, Calif. —

Four of the six people named to the USA Olympic table tennis team are from the Bay Area. The U.S. has zero Olympic table tennis medals but two of the Bay Area athletes earned bronze medals at the Youth Olympics. The two non-Bay Area players are Juan Liu and Huijing Wang.
