CHP officer saves choking baby on Los Angeles freeway
A choking baby was saved by California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers on the side of a freeway in southern California. According to CHP - West Valley on Facebook, officers Ramstead and Cato responded to a call of a choking baby in a car on the right shoulder of Highway 101 in Woodland Hills. "Ramstead, a licensed paramedic, evaluated the infant and utilized back slaps to help the infant clear his airway and begin breathing normally," the post read. The baby was choking on cherries.
