HAVE SOME MORE SAFETY. POWERFUL WORDS FROM A LOCAL GIRL WHO NEARLY DIED FROM COVID-19 TONIGHT. SHE IS PUSHING FOR KIDS TO GET VACCINATED. WELL THIS AS THE STATE SAYS KIDS COULD HAVE ACCESS TO THE PFIZER VACCINE AS EARLY AS THURSDAY AUBREY KILLIAN IS LIVE IN COVINGTON WITH THE EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW TONIGHT AUBRY. HEY SELLERS, SO YOU MIGHT REMEMBER WHEN I FIRST INTERVIEWED JULIET DAILY LAST YEAR. SHE WAS 12 YEARS OLD. SHE DIDN’T KNOW SHE WAS GONNA MAKE IT TO HER 13TH BIRTHDAY. AND TODAY SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE CANNOT WAIT TO GET VACCINATED. NO, NO JULIET DAILY, ALL SMILES AND FULL OF JOY PLAYING WITH THEIR BROTHERS. BUT LAST APRIL COVID-19 ALMOST TOOK HER LIFE. I LOOKED LIKE A VAMPIRE. I MY SKIN WAS ALL PALE. SHE FELT EXCRUCIATING STOMACH PAIN HER LIPS WERE BLUE AND SHE FELT VERY WEAK. SO HER PARENTS TOOK HER TO THE HOSPITAL DOCTORS MADE THE CALL. TO TAKE HER BY HELICOPTER TO AUCTIONER, BUT RIGHT BEFORE THE FLIGHT HER HEART STOPPED TWICE. THEY PUT LIKE A LITTLE AIR TUBE IN. MY HEART STOPPED DROPPING VERY FAST AND BY THAT TIME I WAS LIKE IN THE 20S AND I WAS STILL DROPPING VERY FASTER. THEY HAD TO PERFORM CPR AND BRING ME BACK JULIET EVENTUALLY MADE IT TO OCHSNER. THEN I WAKE UP. SEVEN DAYS LATER THERE’S A CONFUSING DAY GET VACCINATED EVERYONE JULIET’S FATHER. SEAN SAYS, IT’S BEEN A LIFE-CHANGING YEAR. HE ONCE JULIET’S STORY TO SHOW PARENTS THE POWER OF COVID-19 WHEN YOU SEE JULIET IN FRONT OF YOU WOULD WHAT WHAT DO YOU FEEL? JUST PURE JOY RIGHT AS LONG AS THEY’RE HOMEWORK DOES IT’S BEEN WONDERFUL. A 13-year-old girl who nearly died from COVID-19 is pushing for other kids to get the shot.State health department leaders in Louisiana said kids could have access to the Pfizer vaccine as early as Thursday.Juliet Daly said one year ago she thought she was going to die from the virus and now she says she cannot wait to get the vaccine.“It's going to be nice. “It's going to be nice. It's going to be a relief I won't have to worry about getting COVID again and I will have some safety,” Daly said. “I’m just thinking how lucky I was."
