Central Coast YMCA is offering free summer teen membership for ages 12-18 years old with proof of vaccination for July and August at all five YMCA locations: Monterey, South County, Salinas, San Benito and Watsonville, as well as the Salinas Aquatic Center.For more information, contact the main offices of the Central Coast YMCA at (831) 757-4633 or go online at https://www.centralcoastymca.org. Central Coast YMCA was formed in 1989. It merged with two independent YMCAs; the Salinas Community YMCA, which was founded in 1921, and the Watsonville Family YMCA, which was founded in 1898. The YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula joined the association in 1990. South County YMCA then became the fourth branch of the association in 1998. And finally, the YMCA of San Benito County became the fifth and most recent addition to the association in 1999.
