On Saturday, April 1st, Raising Harts is hosting their Harts for Autism Gala benefiting autistic and neurodiverse children on the South Shore at Blackrock Country Club in Hingham.
Raising Harts provides inclusive events for kids on the spectrum and who are neurodiverse and their families. They also provide support through a caregiver to caregiver mentorship program that connects people who have children that have been diagnosed with Autism with a parent that has walked this path before them.
Tickets for the gala can be purchased through this Eventbrite link.
Raising Harts is 100% volunteer based, and donations and sponsorships go directly to supporting their mission. They welcome any business that would like to support the mission through sponsorship or through silent auction items for the gala.
Raising Harts was started by a mom named Candice Hartford who has twins with Autism. Receiving an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis for your child is overwhelming, isolating, and happens to one in 44 children in the United States. Feeling overwhelmed with two ASD diagnoses, Candice wanted to create a place where neurodiverse families could connect, share stories and resources, enjoy inclusive events in the community, and feel supported in their ASD journey. These goals have grown into a thriving organization that’s looking ahead toward great possibilities for the South Shore and beyond.
