Happy Friday – we’ve got an action packed weekend coming up!
The Opening Ceremony for the Olympics is today – the ceremony will start at 2pm EST today and will be available to stream on NBC and Peacock. You can also catch an enhanced encore presentation of the ceremony at 8pm tonight on NBC. The Games will continue from now until February 22nd.
Of course, we also have the Super Bowl on Sunday, starting at 6:30pm on NBC. Tons to look forward to with the game, commercials, and the Bad Bunny Halftime Show, but if you’re not interested in the game, you can still reap the benefits. Starbucks is running a promo on Monday where “Everyone wins the day after the Big Game!”
Starbucks rewards members can get a free tall hot or iced coffee on Monday with the purchase of a drink. Starbucks is also rolling out limited-edition paper cups with the company’s original logo set on a green cup the color of baristas’ aprons.
Something fun to look forward to is the upcoming musical adaptation of The Lost Boys. Based off of the 1987 cult classic vampire film, previews for the show will start on March 27th and the show will open its doors officially on April 26th! The Devil Wears Prada sequel that’s been in the works is almost here and they’ve finally dropped the first trailer! The movie will be in theaters on May 1st. Check out the trailer below.
Lastly, Steve Carrell has a new show coming out on HBO Max called Rooster. The series will premiere on March 8th and will drop an episode each Sunday until the finale on May 10th. I’ve linked the trailer here if you’re interested!
