This week, Last Christmas by Wham! took the No.1 slot on the Global 200 chart, ahead of Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You. This is the first time since the chart’s launch in September 2020 that another holiday song other than Carey’s classic has topped the chart.
The Christina Lauren novel In a Holidaze is being adapted at Netflix in conjunction with Alloy Entertainment and will star Rob Lowe in addition to Maddie Ziegler, Graham Phillips, and Elias Kacavas. The movie will start filming at the end of January!
Things to Look Forward to Watching This Week
Part II of the Everybody Loves Raymond 30th anniversary reunion will air at 8pm on Monday night on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Ray Romano and Phil Rosenthal will host and welcome cast members as they reminisce about the beloved series. You can stream Part I here.
The fifth season of Emily in Paris is streaming now on Netflix.
Deliver Me From Nowhere – the film about Bruce Springsteen – will be available from digital retailers on December 23rd. A 4K Blu-ray edition (with an exclusive four-act documentary about the making of the film) will be on sale January 20th, 2026.
Song Sung Blue – the new Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson film about a Neil Diamond tribute band – will be in theaters on Christmas.
Stranger Things Part II will be released on Netflix on Christmas.
Looking Ahead
Marvel fans – specifically Chris Evans fans… Chris Evans will be returning for Avengers: Doomsday!! The film will be in theaters December 18th, 2026. They released a teaser that’s been shown during Avatar: Fire and Ash where you see Chris Evans’ return.
Colin Jost and Pete Davidson of SNL purchased a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry and have seemingly big plans for it! Check it out here.
