We made it to the LONG weekend! Thanks for checking out this week’s episode of The Buzz, brought to you by Dini’s tinis.
In case you missed it, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced this week that they are engaged and fans are already speculating when they will get married. Supposedly, the guest list and small details for the wedding are already finalized – they’re planning a private ceremony with close friends and family and it will be more casual than people think.
Fans think it’ll happen in the spring, after the Super Bowl and have been going back through her discography to look at songs about marriage, engagements, and weddings for clues about the wedding and to reminisce.
In other news, Netflix is opening three theme parks. These parks will have free admission, but paid immersive experiences. They’re opening one in Philly on November 12th, Dallas on December 11th, and Las Vegas in 2027.
There will be immersive experiences for Netflix programs like Stranger Things, Knives Out, Squid Game, Wednesday, One Piece, and more. There will also be things like movie screenings of movies like KPop Demon Hunters and you can eat at Netflix Bites, where you’ll find dishes inspired by Netflix programs.
Something else to look forward to is the Twilight Saga returning to theaters. Starting in October, you’ll be able to see all five movies in theaters again, celebrating the book’s 20th anniversary.
But if you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, Jaws is still celebrating its 50th anniversary and will be in theaters from today until Thursday, September 4th.
So, celebrate the end of summer and Labor Day on Amity Island while you still can!
See you back here next week for another edition of The Buzz!
