Happy Friday! Welcome back to another edition of The Buzz, brought to you by Dini’s tinis!
The weather is looking beautiful this weekend, so you may not want to stay inside, but I do have tons of recommendations of things to watch if you are looking to stay indoors!
- The Malcolm in the Middle reboot – Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair is streaming on Hulu and Disney+ now! It’s a four episode revival following an adult Malcolm who is still trying to deal with his chaotic family during their 40th wedding anniversary.
- Dan Levy’s new show Big Mistakes is streaming in its entirety on Netflix. It is about ‘Two deeply incapable siblings [who] are blackmailed into the world of organized crime’.
- The final season of The Boys has premiered on Prime. You can watch the first two episodes of the season now.
The final season of Euphoria will premiere on Sunday at 9pm. The season will consist of eight episodes which are expected to drop every Sunday at 9pm following the season premiere.
If you’re in the mood to go to the movie theater, the romcom You, Me & Tuscany is in theaters today, starring Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page. It follows Anna (Bailey) as she impulsively takes a trip to Tuscany, stays in a stranger’s villa without his permission, and when caught, pretends she’s engaged to its owner. Things get even more complicated when she develops feelings for the owner’s cousin (Page).
Some Things To Look Forward To:
- There is a documentary about Noah Kahan that will be on Netflix on Monday
- The film Beach Read, based off of Emily Henry’s bestselling novel, is reportedly going to be filming in Toronto from June 1st-July 24th
- Scream 8 is reportedly in production
- Remarkably Bright Creatures, based off of Shelby Van Pelt’s novel, will be premiering on Netflix on May 8th. It’s a beautifully heartfelt novel, check it out here, and I’ll link the trailer for the film below!
