It’s been a really heartbreaking few weeks in Hollywood. After finding out that Catherine O’Hara and James Van Der Beek both passed away, this news was followed by the passing of Robert Duvall and now the news that Eric Dane has passed away after a battle with ALS. It’s feeling a little bit lately like Hollywood is full of predominantly sad news.
I can’t speak about Eric Dane’s future projects, if there are any, but some bittersweet news is that James Van Der Beek does have two projects that will be released in the coming months. James’ film The Gates will be coming to theaters on March 13th where he plays a “sinister pastor”. He will also be in the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series Elle, which is coming to Prime in July. He was also reportedly writing a memoir, but I am unsure how far along in the process he was and if it will be released or not.
It was announced this week that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be hitting the road on the Land of Hopes and Dreams 2026 tour and they’ll be stopping in Boston on May 24th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12pm and you can buy them here.
If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend and you’re a fan of Gordon Ramsay like I am, check out Being Gordon Ramsay on Netflix! It’s a 6 episode series that explores Ramsay’s life as he’s opened several restaurants while also balancing his family life and career. The series will offer behind the scenes footage and show rare, intimate glimpses into his home life.
There’s also tons to look forward to next week: the Scrubs revival will air on ABC on Wednesday in addition to the new season of Survivor, the second part of Bridgerton season 4 will drop on Netflix on Thursday, and then the new Scream film will hit theaters on Friday and the new Bruno Mars album will be released on Friday as well.
Check back here next week for another edition of The Buzz – brought to you by Dini’s tinis!
