Welcome back to The Buzz! Brought to you by Dini’s tinis, Martinis in a Can.
This week, we got our first look at the upcoming Sam Mendes Beatles films which are set to star Paul Mescal as Paul, Joseph Quinn as George, Barry Keoghan as Ringo, and Harris Dickinson as John. Check out the pictures below!
The four films are slated to premiere in 2028 and each one will be told through the perspective of a different Beatle.
If you want something to watch this weekend, Part I of the new season of Bridgerton is now streaming on Netflix.
The new season of Shrinking also premiered on Apple TV this week and Michael J. Fox appears in the episode. This marks his return to on-screen acting (his voice was featured in Zootopia 2 in 2025) and he plays a character with Parkinson’s who befriends Harrison Ford’s character, who also has Parkinson’s. The show is dropping one episode a week, every Wednesday, until its finale on April 8th. If you’re a Michael J. Fox fan, check out this article where he speaks on his return to acting.
The GRAMMYs are also on this weekend and will be airing on CBS at 8pm.
And speaking of music, The Eagles Greatest Hits album recently became the first album to be certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA, making it the biggest album in terms of US sales and streams. Their Hotel California album remains at #3 at 28 times platinum.
