Can you believe it, we’ve already made it to mid-January? Happy Friday and we’re back for another edition of The Buzz, brought to you by Dini’s tinis!
This week was the week for music!
Harry Styles announced (finally!) that he’s releasing a new album on March 6th called Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. I. Cannot. Wait. For. This. Album. Harry hasn’t released new music since his 2022 album Harry’s House, so this is very exciting for fans of his. His former bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik also are releasing new music this year.
Harry’s been known to push bounds when it comes to what genre his music falls into – he’s done a little bit of pop, a little acoustic, a little disco, a little funk, the list goes on… So I’m hoping that with disco being in the title of his album, he leans into it a little more.
Richard Marx dropped an album today called After Hours, which you can listen to here. He has quite a few artists featured on the album, including Rod Stewart.
Tom Brady spoke out this week, again, on who he would like to play him in a future biopic, and this time, Leonardo DiCaprio’s name came up. Previously, he’d named Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon.
Speaking of, Matt Damon has a new film out today on Netflix with Ben Affleck called The Rip. It is about a group of Miami cops and a stash of millions in cash. Check that movie out here.
If you’re still looking for those Bruno Mars tickets, they went on sale yesterday and you can find them here. Pitbull announced some new US tour dates, including a stop in Mansfield later this summer. Tickets go on sale on January 30th!
A heads up for The Rookie fans – the show will be moving from Tuesday nights to Mondays starting on January 26th. Once it moves, the series will air 15 uninterrupted weekly episodes. It will air at 10pm after American Idol.
If you’re looking for something to catch up on this weekend, the late night shows this week had AMAZING guests including Ed Sheeran, Kristen Wiig, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, Connor Storrie, and tons more! I think all the clips should be on Youtube and you can see the full list of late night appearances here.
We’re taking a week off from The Buzz next week, but for now, take a listen to this week’s extended podcast and we’ll be back on January 30th!
