Jordyn’s Buzz – January 20th, 2023

Good morning, listeners! We’ve got a lot going on in Hollywood this week, so let’s jump right in!

The house from the movie The Goonies was sold and the buyer seems to have a lot of plans for the property.

First and foremost, he wants to preserve the home and he wants it to be a place where fans can gather. Beyond that, he wants to try to rent out the property for longterm (31+ day) stays. I also saw that he would like some of the cast members to join together at the house for the anniversary of the film.

A lot of people have been purchasing homes featured on television or in film recently, and I haven’t kept up with plans for any of the other homes, but it seems like this buyer really is doing it right! If I see any progression in plans, I’ll be sure to update here on The Buzz.

If you guys have gotten to know me at all over the last few months, you’ll know that I’m a HUGE That 70s Show fan and I have been counting down the days until That 90s Show dropped on Netflix.

That day finally came YESTERDAY and the show so far is absolutely fantastic.

There are ten episodes on Netflix, and I’ve smiled through all of the ones I’ve seen so far and laughed just like it was That 70s Show. The first episode has been my favorite and just completely brought back the feel of the original show, and seeing how they’ve chosen to loop in the original cast members and jokes from the original show makes the series feel even more special.

I can’t wait to finish the episodes I have left, and if you haven’t seen it yet and you were a fan of That 70s Show, definitely check it out! I’ll link the promo for the series below.

Lastly, two tours were announced recently.
