Whether big or small, summer or fall, planning a wedding can be overwhelming and daunting. This is the season where most brides and grooms and their support people kick it in to high gear. The new fashions are revealed. It also comes right on the heels of the holiday season. Christmas and Valentine’s Day are the two biggest days of the year for proposals.
You’ll find most of the wedding shows are also scheduled for this time of year. If you are planning your special day, take advantage of these shows. They are a great opportunity to see runway shows, meet vendors in person and try samples of food and cakes.
Even if you plan to do a small intimate gathering, which is becoming a trend, you want to be confident that your vendors and service suppliers are reliable and onboard to help realize your vision of perfection. The last thing you want to worry about is how the cake will taste or whether or not it will be delivered to the venue on time. Is the DJ going to go rogue and play country when I specifically asked him or her not to? Is the officiant getting a little too preachy?
Wedding shows are a great way to make sure you’re inviting vendors into your special day that are on your team. Easy 99.1 and Hotel 1620 host the third annual show at Hotel 1620 this Saturday, 1/25/20. Doors open at 12:00 noon.
Check out a few other shows too. If you’re in Plymouth on Sunday, Cordage Park’s 1620 Winery will also be showcasing their venue with select vendors on Sunday the 26th. If you’re on the SouthCoast, Fun 107’s Show at White’s of Westport is on the 26th too.
This Saturday, our show is free for brides, grooms and guests. We’ll also have some great door prizes, including a 7 night stay in Las Vegas as well as 4 nights at Club Med (in a location of your choice) courtesy of The Travel Center.
Hope to see you there!
