It never fails….as soon as the Entertainer, or Row Your Boat can be heard off in the distance, kids drop what they’re doing and run to their parents to ask for money to get a yummy treat from the ice cream truck.
Buying a treat from the ice cream truck is an American tradition that makes for great summer-time memories. That tradition started almost a hundred years ago in Ohio by the Good Humor company, the inventors of ice cream on a stick. Those treats were sold from a fleet of twelve street-vending trucks. Now we have the luxury of selecting from numerous different frozen novelties. Can you imagine a world with no Screwballs or Push-ups? lol It’s cool how ice cream has evolved over the last decade.
What if there’s an alternate world somewhere, where all the ice cream and cool treats are all-you-can-eat, all fat-free, calorie-free and David Lee Roth is actually driving and singing (You know the song!) le Sigh. A girl can dream, right? See you in line!
